Alto Healthcare Staffing is hiring an experienced Director of Rehabilitation for an opportunity at RiverRidge Center in Kennebunk, Maine. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced rehabilitation professional to lead an established therapy team at a specialized rehabilitation facility focused on post-acute brain injury, stroke recovery, and neurological rehabilitation. RiverRidge Center is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and provides skilled nursing, long-term care, outpatient rehabilitation, recreational therapy, and access to adaptive sports equipment. The Director of Rehabilitation will oversee daily therapy operations, support clinical staff, and ensure high-quality patient care while maintaining departmental productivity and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities Lead, supervise, and support a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team. Oversee daily operations of the rehabilitation department. Coordinate therapy services across multiple disciplines. Manage staff scheduling, productivity, and departmental performance. Ensure compliance with clinical documentation and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with nursing, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to support patient outcomes. Provide clinical guidance, mentoring, and professional development opportunities. Maintain high standards of patient-centered care and clinical excellence. Qualifications Current Maine state license in one of the following disciplines: Physical Therapist (PT) Occupational Therapist (OT) Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) Previous rehabilitation experience, preferably in a skilled nursing, post-acute, or neurological rehabilitation setting. Prior rehabilitation management, supervisory, or team leadership experience required. Strong knowledge of rehabilitation operations, clinical documentation, and regulatory compliance. Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Ability to manage a multidisciplinary team and support clinical excellence.
