Monday-Friday Guaranteed Hours:

40 hours per week Key Responsibilities Provide overall leadership and operational oversight for the inpatient Med/Surg and ICU nursing departments . Maintain 24-hour accountability for patient care activities and nursing service operations. Promote safe, high-quality, patient-centered nursing care. Establish and maintain standards, policies, procedures, and practices consistent with organizational and regulatory requirements. Provide leadership, direction, coaching, and support to nursing staff and department leaders. Manage staffing, scheduling, performance management, and other human resource functions. Apply sound financial management principles to support effective and efficient nursing operations. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and clinical outcomes. Monitor quality, safety, and patient-care indicators and implement improvement initiatives as needed. Required Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred. Current, active Maine Registered Nurse (RN) license or applicable Compact RN licensure. Minimum 2 years of professional nursing experience . Current

BLS/BCLS

certification . Current ACLS certification . #HC1
