Full Job Description Description:
The Director of Human Resources is responsible for leading HR operations and employee lifecycle management across a growing, multi-site healthcare organization. This role serves as a strategic partner to leadership and a primary resource for employee relations, onboarding, retention, succession planning, HR administration, and workforce development. The Director of HR will lead and develop a growing HR team while supporting managers and employees across multiple locations. Key Responsibilities Lead HR operations and support employees throughout the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding through offboarding. Serve as the primary HR resource for employee relations, performance management, retention initiatives, and succession planning. Partner with site leaders and managers to ensure consistent HR practices across multiple locations. Oversee onboarding processes and support a team of HR professionals and onboarding specialists. Administer and review payroll and benefits processes in partnership with dedicated payroll and benefits teams. Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices. Develop and implement programs that support employee engagement, growth, and organizational culture. Provide coaching and guidance to managers on employee relations, performance concerns, and workforce planning. Support organizational growth initiatives, including integration of new locations and expansion efforts. Track HR metrics and recommend process improvements to enhance operational effectiveness.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership responsibilities. Prior experience supporting physician practices, clinics, hospitals, or other healthcare provider environments is required. Experience supporting multi-site or multi-state operations preferred. Strong knowledge of employee relations, onboarding, retention, performance management, and succession planning. Experience with HRIS, payroll, and benefits administration; ADP experience is a plus. Proven ability to lead and develop HR teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to build relationships with employees, managers, and executive leadership. Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
