We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Human Resources Manager who can lead recruiting, oversee employee onboarding and orientation, maintain accurate HR records, and help ensure our organization meets applicable employment and industry requirements. Position Summary The Human Resources Manager is responsible for the day-to-day HR operations for Blue Water Homecare & Hospice, with a strong emphasis on recruiting and retaining qualified employees. This position oversees the recruiting process, conducts new employee orientation, manages onboarding through Paylocity, maintains employee records, supports employee relations, and monitors HR compliance requirements. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, approachable, and comfortable balancing recruiting goals with the administrative and compliance responsibilities of HR. This person must be willing to take ownership of the recruiting process, actively pursue candidates, and work closely with company leadership and department managers to meet staffing needs. administration and ADA accommodation requests Background screening, including the FCRA adverse action process and the Texas DPS and registry checks Employee relations, investigations, and the employee handbook New-hire orientation, onboarding, and personnel records in Paylocity Oversight of our recruiting function What we're looking for: 3-5 years of progressive HR experience, at least 2 of them as an HR generalist or manager Hands-on experience applying the laws above Healthcare, home care, or hospice HR experience strongly preferred SHRM-CP or PHR preferred; Paylocity experience a big plus If you know HR compliance and want to help build a team that takes care of people in our community, we'd like to hear from you.
