RPM Staffing is seeking an experienced Staffing/Business Development Manager with previous experience in light industrial hiring and to outside staffing sales. In this duel roll you will have a proven track record of recruiting and placing candidates in manufacturing, production, logistics, or related environments. Grow our client base and drive revenue for our staffing agency, identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities while building long-term relationships. Key Responsibilities Staffing Manager Source, screen, and place candidates for manufacturing, production, assembly, warehouse, quality, maintenance, and related roles Partner with client hiring managers to define role requirements, success profiles, and realistic timelines Conduct thorough phone and in-person/virtual interviews, assessing both technical fit and cultural alignment Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for high-volume and hard-to-fill industrial positions Coordinate interviews, manage candidate communication, and provide an exceptional candidate experience Negotiate offers and support the onboarding process to ensure smooth starts, Business Development & Sales Prospect and generate new client opportunities through cold outreach, networking, referrals, LinkedIn, industry events, and targeted campaigns. Conduct discovery meetings to understand client hiring challenges, workforce needs, budgets, and timelines. Present and sell staffing solutions tailored to each client's requirements. Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities; accurately forecast revenue. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements; close deals and secure new business. Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business, expansions, and referrals. Required Qualifications 2+ years of staffing or recruiting experience with a strong focus on manufacturing, production, industrial, or logistics hiring. 2+ years experience selling multiple staffing models (temp, contract, direct hire) Proven ability to fill roles such as production operators, machine operators, supervisors, quality technicians, maintenance techs, warehouse associates, and skilled trades Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and major job boards. High school diploma or equivalent required Experience in high-volume or temp-to-hire staffing for manufacturing clients Standard hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM , Monday-Friday Occasional flexibility for evenings or weekends to support clients and candidates Some travel to client sites or job fairs as needed If you're passionate about people, results-driven, and ready to grow with a leading regional staffing firm, we want to hear from you!
