Staffing Manager Express Employment Professionals | West Valley City, UT Are you an experienced staffing professional ready to lead a team and make a bigger impact? Express Employment Professionals is looking for a Staffing Manager to lead our recruiting and staffing team in West Valley City. This is a hands-on management position for someone who understands the pace of the staffing industry, knows how to develop and motivate a team, and believes that great client service starts with urgency, communication, and follow-through. You won't be managing from the sidelines. You'll lead the team while staying connected to recruiting, client relationships, candidate placements, and the day-to-day activity that drives a successful staffing office. What You'll Do Lead, coach, and develop our team of Employment Specialists/Recruiters Set daily recruiting and placement priorities and hold the team accountable for results Manage open job orders and keep recruiting efforts focused on the positions our clients need filled Ensure qualified candidates are presented within hours—not days Recruit, interview, evaluate, and place candidates when needed Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses Work directly with clients to understand their jobs, work environments, and staffing needs Monitor recruiting activity, candidate pipelines, fill rates, order aging, and overall team performance Coach the team on interviewing, candidate selection, documentation, follow-up, and client service Help resolve associate attendance, performance, and assignment issues Lead daily morning huddles and afternoon stand-ups to keep the team focused, communicating, and accountable Partner with ownership and sales to grow existing accounts and support new business Who We're Looking For You may be a great fit if you have staffing or recruiting experience and are ready to take the next step in your career—or if you're already leading a staffing team and looking for an opportunity where you can have a greater impact. We're looking for someone who: Has previous staffing, recruiting, workforce management, or high-volume hiring experience using VMS data management software like Fieldglass, Beeline, and similar products Has leadership, supervisory, or team-lead experience Understands that staffing requires urgency and responsiveness Can manage multiple job orders and priorities without losing track of the details Enjoys coaching people and helping them improve Is comfortable setting expectations and holding people accountable Builds strong relationships with clients, candidates, and coworkers Communicates professionally and follows through on commitments and social media platforms Is organized, decisive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Enjoys solving problems and getting results What Success Looks Like Our Staffing Manager creates a team that is proactive, responsive, and accountable.
