Dublin, CA Job Summary:
Leads Talent & Organizational Development professionals within the function, integrating efforts across related programs. Sponsors facilitation and measurement effectiveness, leads major program/change initiatives, and builds capability within the team. Represents the department in senior discussions, negotiates trade-offs, and drives strategic planning for talent and Organizational Development initiatives. Accountable for department-level performance, engagement, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilites:
Manages one or more team members within the Talent and Organizational Development team. Removes barriers to team success Collaborates across organization in support of Talent and Organizational Development goals and priorities Communicates key information to business stakeholders Coaches team on skills and processes within scope of work Manages change for supported programs Identifies opportunities and continuously improves processes across organization Manages portfolio of programs and projects within reporting structure Manages defined metrics and goals for team Some of our competitive offerings include generous benefits packages (Health, Dental, Vision, Life and

Hiring pay range:
$104,768.00 - 137,508.00
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Ability to build facilitation capability across the team Ability to manage major transformation initiatives, even outside of their department Ability to set targets, communicate ROI, and reallocate resources as needed Demonstrated expertise in establishing, monitoring, and communicating progress toward the achievement of goals, objectives, and milestones Ability to own portfolio governance Ability to manage cross-department dependencies Skill in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems Ability to establish department controls and reporting cadence Ability to lead professionals; build capability, manage headcount and budget, and drive engagement Skilled in building and managing teams and work groups, for example leveraging group dynamics and fostering teamwork and collaboration Ability to lead strategic planning for talent and OD initiatives within department In addition to all of the qualifications listed above, the candidate must demonstrate expertise in one or more of the following specialty areas: Instructional Design & Content Creation; Talent Cycle; Organizational Design; Culture & Engagement; Process Design & Optimization; Leadership & Management Development;
HRIS Technology Preferred:
Ability to balance capacity across teams Ability to lead strategic problem-solving initiatives across departments Ability to sponsor and measure facilitation effectiveness across programs Ability to publish insight dashboards for leaders and translate business outcomes. Ability to align senior leadership around change Ability to lead continuous improvement using data Ability to represent the department in senior discussions/meetings Ability to negotiate trade-offs and build consensus for decisions. Skilled in adjusting work processes and outputs in response to or anticipation of changes in goals, standards, resources, and/or time. Ability to leverage data for strategic choices Ability to tie insights to outcomes and resource allocation. Ability to communicate compliance status to leaders. Skilled in matching, assigning, and/or delegating work to others. Skilled in managing conflict, for example providing feedback, and mediating and resolving disputes.
Experience:
7 minimum years related experience, 5 minimum years management, supervisor, and/or leadership experience
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt preferred, Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred, Certified Professional in Learning & Performance (CPLP) preferred, Instructional Design Certificate preferred, Prosci Change Management Practitioner Certification preferred
Other Requirements:
Up to 20% of time traveling, primarily for sessions/events as well as team visits/meetings
