Job Description

Chefs de France in Lake Buena Vista, Florida is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support our Food and Beverage locations in the French pavilion located in the heart of Central Florida's premier theme park. Chefs de France follows a 40+ year tradition of providing authentic French cuisine to our guests. The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for assisting the Director of Human Resources in a variety of Human Resource functions. This position acts as a resource to employees on HR matters and will be one of the first points of contact for our employees, so a high level of customer service skills is required. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of Human Resources as well as general administrative responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Provides administrative and operational support to the Director of Human Resources and day-to-day operations. Serves as a resource for employees and new hires by responding to general HR questions and directing employees to appropriate resources and information. Supports the implementation and administration of HR programs, initiatives, processes, and organizational projects. Maintains and updates HR information in company systems, ensuring information is accurate, current, and confidential. Assists with benefits administration, including annual enrollment and ongoing employee support. Supports the full recruitment and hiring process, including developing and updating job descriptions and postings, coordinating interviews, conducting background checks, and preparing files and related materials. Maintains accurate and confidential employee records in accordance with applicable state and federal requirements and organizational policies. Facilitates new hire orientation and onboarding activities to support a positive employee experience. Responds to general email, telephone, and employee inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Maintains organized electronic and paper files, records, and departmental documentation in compliance with state and federal laws. Coordinates and supports projects that may involve confidential or sensitive information. Performs other related duties and special projects as assigned. Skills Strong judgment and decision-making skills. Highly organized and detail oriented with ability to prioritize and multi-task. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately. Ability to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures. Must be resourceful and have strong problem-solving capabilities. Must possess a positive, solution-oriented and customer-focused attitude. Able to work effectively under pressure, and meet established deadlines. Takes initiative and is solution-oriented in all interactions. Excellent interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication. Required Qualifications 2-3 years of experience as an HR coordinator or relevant human resources/administrative position OR Degree in Human Resources or relevant field Demonstrated Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices Strong ability in using MS Office (Word, Excel) Experience with HR databases and HRIS systems
Preferred Qualifications:
