Job Description

WIOA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act) Recruitment Coordinator Join CEFS as a WIOA Recruitment Coordinator and help connect youth, adults, and dislocated workers with employment, training, and career opportunities across LWIA 23, with a strong focus on engaging youth ages 16 to 24. This is a full-time position with base of operations in Effingham. What You'll Do In this role You'll support recruitment, outreach, participant services, business engagement, and WIOA program operations across the 13-county service area. Travel throughout LWIA 23 to recruit participants, educate partners and businesses, and assist with office coverage as needed. Implement outreach plans for eligible youth, adults, and dislocated workers, with a primary focus on youth ages 16 to 24. Recruit businesses and worksites for Work Experience and On-the-Job Training opportunities. Assist with Work Experience and On-the-Job Training contracts and related case management as needed. Support eligibility, intake, applications, assessments, service planning, training activities, and customer placement as needed. Participate in and assist with Rapid Response activities to engage dislocated workers. Document casework and program activities for effective service delivery, monitoring, and evaluation. Lead LWIA 23 Youth Committee meetings. What Makes You a Great Fit Associate degree in Psychology, Sociology, Business, Social Work, or a related field with prior experience in social work, employment and training, education, or a related field. Demonstrated ability to relate to, motivate, and engage disadvantaged youth. Strong computer, recordkeeping, organizational, written communication, and verbal communication skills. Pay & Benefits Hourly wage: $22.83 Health, dental, and vision insurance, vacation, flex, sick time, paid holidays, 403(b) retirement plan. Why Work Here?
