Human Resource Generalist Mind Healing & Wellness Center - 4.0 Northborough, MA Job Details Part-time $28 - $32 an hour 21 hours ago Qualifications Employee onboarding Confidential information handling New hire orientation Payroll systems (technically supported) Onboarding process management Full Job Description Mind Healing & Wellness Center is a growing outpatient behavioral health practice seeking an experienced and highly organized Human Resources Generalist to oversee the day-to-day HR needs of our team. We are looking for someone who has previous HR experience within a healthcare setting and understands the unique requirements involved in hiring and onboarding healthcare professionals. This individual will work closely with leadership and will take ownership of the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through ongoing HR support, performance management and offboarding. Key Responsibilities Coordinate recruitment, candidate screening, interviews, offers and pre-employment requirements. Manage the complete onboarding process for new employees. Coordinate background checks, references, employment verification and other pre-employment requirements. Ensure completion of I-9s, tax/employment documents, required policies, confidentiality agreements and other onboarding documentation. Coordinate new employee orientation and ensure employees are fully prepared for their start date. Maintain complete, accurate and confidential employee personnel files. Manage employee information and HR processes through ADP. Assist employees with benefits, PTO, leave and general HR questions. Maintain accurate tracking of employee PTO, required training and other employment requirements. Coordinate annual performance reviews, probationary reviews and other employee evaluations. Assist leadership with employee relations, performance improvement plans, disciplinary documentation and terminations. Maintain and update employee policies, procedures, job descriptions and the employee handbook. Ensure HR practices comply with applicable federal and Massachusetts employment requirements. Track required healthcare employee documentation, licenses, certifications, trainings and compliance requirements. Coordinate employee offboarding, including termination documentation, benefits notifications, return of company property and removal of system access. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding employee and organizational information. Work collaboratively with management, credentialing, compliance and clinical leadership. Required Qualifications Minimum 2-3 years of Human Resources experience. Healthcare experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated experience independently coordinating employee onboarding and offboarding. Knowledge of employment practices, employee relations and HR documentation. Experience working with HRIS/payroll systems; ADP experience strongly preferred. Excellent organizational and follow-up skills. Strong written and verbal communication. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential employee information appropriately. Ability to work independently, prioritize competing responsibilities and consistently meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field. SHRM-CP, PHR or similar HR certification. Experience working in behavioral health, mental health, medical practices or other outpatient healthcare settings. Experience supporting a growing healthcare organization.
