Job Description

Right at Home , a recognized leader in exceptional home care, is growing and looking for a Home Care HR Coordinator — or as we affectionately call this role, our Employee Engagement Specialist ! As our Home Care HR Coordinator / Employee Engagement Specialist , you'll play a key role in supporting the daily HR functions of our home care agency. This position is the heart of the employee experience — helping us attract, onboard, support, and engage the amazing caregivers who make our mission possible. Hours are Monday through Friday 8:30a-5:30p. You will work out of both offices, Scarborough and Kennebunk. Competitive salary starting between $25-$27/hour.
Key Responsibilities of Home Care HR Coordinator:
Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified caregivers. This includes posting job ads, sourcing candidates through various channels, and attending job fairs or networking events. Review resumes, conduct initial phone screenings, and schedule in-person or virtual interviews. Assess candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit. Manage the onboarding process for new hires, including background checks, training coordination, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Home Care HR Coordinator will collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement programs that enhance employee satisfaction and retention. Utilize scheduling software to manage shifts, track hours, and handle any administrative tasks related to scheduling and recruitment.
Qualifications of Home Care HR Coordinator:
Experience:
Previous experience in recruitment and human resources. Within the home care or healthcare industry is preferred.
Skills:
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Tech-Savvy:
Proficiency with recruitment software, as well as standard office applications (e.g., Google Suite).
Education:
A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not required.
