This role supports business objectives, while ensuring compliance, organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement. This role drives structure, consistency, and continuous improvement across all HR functions including talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, safety, and organizational development. Essential Job Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all aspects of the Human Resources function, including onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, compensation, benefits, performance management, safety, and compliance.
  • Partner with leadership to support organizational decisions and workforce planning.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve HR policies, procedures, and systems to drive consistency and accountability across the organization.
  • Lead recruiting efforts, including workforce planning, sourcing strategy, interviewing, and selection of candidates.
  • Design and manage performance management processes, including performance reviews, merit planning, and employee development initiatives.
  • Serve as a primary resource for employee relations, providing guidance on performance issues, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
  • Oversee compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and programs, including maintaining accurate records and reporting.
  • Manage employee timekeeping and finalization of payroll processing.
  • Lead and support safety initiatives, including coordination of safety programs, policy development, and compliance with MIOSHA standards.
  • Analyze compensation data and market trends to support competitive and equitable pay practices.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to support leadership development, compliance, and employee growth.
  • Drive HR metrics and reporting to provide insights and recommendations to leadership.
  • Manage vendor relationships related to HR services, including benefits, training, and compliance support.
  • Support organizational change initiatives and employee communication.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture through consistent communication, employee engagement, and employee alignment.
  • Back up various roles as needed.
  • Perform miscellaneous tasks and duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required. A SHRM certification is a plus.
  • 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including experience supporting leadership and organizational initiatives.
  • Proven experience with employment law, compliance, and HR best practices.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in basic computer systems & HR software.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Dedicated HR professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, solving HR challenges, and helping employees thrive.
  • Regularly sit, stand, bend, stoop, reach, and lift up to twenty-five pounds.
