Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Employee Coordinator to join our team and play a vital role in fostering a supportive, inclusive, and efficient workplace environment. In this role, you will coordinate employee HR matters including hiring, disciplinary action and file management, schedule management, facilitate communication across teams, and support workforce development initiatives. Your energetic approach will help ensure that all team members receive the guidance, mentorship, and resources they need to succeed. Responsibilities Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries, providing clear communication and support. Coordinate onboarding, training sessions, and ongoing professional development programs for staff. Assist in implementing workforce development strategies tailored to meet the needs of individuals with disabilities or from underserved communities. Collaborate with the executive director to ensure compliance with employment and labor laws while promoting inclusive practices. Mentor and coach employees to foster professional growth, especially those working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism. Prepare detailed reports, training materials, and written communications to support organizational goals. Provide on floor support and shift coverage when needed. Skills Basic to strong understanding of employment and HR practices Working with individuals in long term care settings. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting purposes. Ability to work effectively with culturally diverse communities and from underserved backgrounds. Background in workforce development programs, human resources and recruiting practices. Excellent written communication skills for creating training materials, reports, and client correspondence. Skilled in training & development strategies. Pay:
From $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
