Job Description

We are looking for an HR Generalist to support day-to-day human resources operations for a service-focused organization in New Brighton, Minnesota. This Contract position is well suited for someone who can balance employee support with strong administrative follow-through across onboarding, benefits, and compliance activities. The ideal candidate will bring a practical understanding of employee relations and HR systems while helping maintain efficient, accurate HR processes.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day human resources support by addressing employee questions, resolving workplace concerns, and guiding staff on company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including documentation, orientation support, and timely completion of required employment records.
  • Administer benefits-related activities such as enrollments, updates, employee communications, and issue resolution with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain and update employee information within HR systems, ensuring records are complete, current, and compliant with organizational standards.
  • Assist with leave administration, including FMLA-related tracking, documentation, and communication with employees and internal stakeholders.
  • Support HR administration by preparing reports, processing personnel changes, and managing confidential records with discretion.
  • Use HRIS and Oracle tools to enter data, monitor transactions, and help improve consistency in HR operations.
  • Partner with managers and employees on employee relations matters, escalating sensitive issues when appropriate and helping promote a positive work environment.
