Community Care Partners is looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our growing healthcare organization in New Jersey. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys wearing many hats and wants to be involved in all areas of HR—from recruiting and onboarding to employee relations, compliance, benefits, and day-to-day HR operations. You'll work closely with employees and management, help keep HR processes organized, support compliance requirements, and play an important role in building a strong workplace culture. What You'll Do Day-to-Day HR Operations Serve as a primary HR resource for employees and managers. Manage and maintain employee files, HR documentation, and personnel records. Ensure HR processes and documentation are accurate, timely, and organized. Help develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and forms. Respond to employee questions and help resolve HR-related issues. Recruiting & Onboarding Coordinate and support the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate communication, interviews, and background checks. Manage new-hire onboarding and ensure all required paperwork and documentation is completed. Assist with credentialing and employment requirements specific to the healthcare and I/DD environment. Help ensure new employees are properly prepared and cleared to begin work. Employee Relations Partner with managers to address employee concerns and workplace issues. Assist with performance management, coaching, corrective action, and disciplinary documentation. Help promote a positive, respectful, and professional workplace culture. Support employee engagement and retention initiatives. HR Compliance Help ensure compliance with federal and New Jersey employment laws and applicable healthcare regulations. Maintain accurate documentation related to DDD, DHS, ACA, FMLA, EEO-1, unemployment claims, and other regulatory requirements. Assist with audits, reporting, and compliance reviews. Stay current on changes to employment laws and HR requirements. Benefits & Payroll Support Assist with health, dental, vision, 401(k), and other employee benefit programs. Serve as a point of contact for employee benefit questions and coordinate with benefit providers. Work closely with payroll to ensure employee information and changes are accurate and processed timely. Assist with workers' compensation claims and related documentation. HRIS & Reporting Maintain accurate employee information in the HRIS. Generate HR reports and assist with workforce tracking and reporting. Help improve HR processes, systems, and record keeping. General HR Support Work on a variety of HR projects and initiatives as organizational needs change. Partner with management on employee and staffing needs. Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information. Take ownership of HR tasks and follow them through to completion. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. 3-5+ years of hands-on HR experience. Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and employee relations. Experience with HR compliance and documentation. Healthcare, home healthcare, behavioral health, or I/DD experience is a plus. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities. Strong attention to detail and follow-through. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred. Must be able to work on-site in New Jersey ; local candidates only.
