Full-Time Salary:
Up to $77,000 annually Join Our Team as a Staffing Coordinator! Chateau Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking an experienced, organized, and motivated Staffing Coordinator to join our team. In this critical role, you will support the Nursing Department by coordinating staffing schedules, maintaining compliance, and assisting with recruitment and onboarding efforts. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, and is passionate about supporting quality resident care through effective staffing management. Key Responsibilities Create and maintain monthly staffing schedules and daily nursing assignments to ensure appropriate coverage. Monitor and calculate nursing staffing hours to maintain regulatory compliance. Collaborate with the Director of Nursing on recruitment efforts, including interviewing, hiring, disciplinary actions, and terminations of CNAs, CMTs, and Nursing staff. Maintain accurate attendance, scheduling, and personnel records. Process Payroll Change Notices (PCNs) for new hires, terminations, status changes, wage increases, and leaves of absence. Conduct reference checks and employment verifications for prospective candidates. Maintain an up-to-date contact database for all nursing personnel. Follow up with new hires to ensure onboarding requirements, credentials, and compliance documentation are completed. Assist with staffing reports and workforce planning initiatives. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing or Administrator. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of Staffing Coordinator experience in a skilled nursing facility, rehabilitation center, or long-term care setting. Strong knowledge of staffing regulations and scheduling practices within healthcare. Excellent organizational, analytical, and time-management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. Proficiency with scheduling systems, payroll processes, and Microsoft Office applications.
