is an EEO employer and service provider. Overview We are seeking a Human Resources Specialist & Planner to work directly for the Executive Director. This vital role combines strategic program planning with hands-on personnel management while maintaining compliance with federal, state and program regulations. The ideal candidate will thrive on balancing regulations, policies, and program enrichment in a large nonprofit agency. This position directly assists the Executive Director. Responsibilities Develop and implement employee orientation programs that foster engagement and understanding of organizational culture Review disciplinary actions and corrective action plans for consistency and adherence to policy Ensuring compliance with applicable laws such as FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) and workers' compensation regulations Maintain compliance with employment & labor law, HR legal standards, OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), and other regulatory requirements Support change management initiatives by facilitating communication and training related to organizational changes Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively Expertise in data collection and data management Excellent communication skills for conducting onboarding, training sessions, and conflict resolution Able to draft well crafted language for disciplinary actions, policies and procedures and agency and grant correspondence Ability to handle confidential information with integrity while maintaining professionalism
Pay:
$48,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
