Full Time Must live within 3 hours of corporate office in Dillsburg, PA. The Human Resources Specialist - Benefits/Payroll is responsible for implementing regional community support for the employee HRIS platform, onboarding, and payroll , and other related duties in compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as Presbyterian Senior Living policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in related field At least one (1) year experience in Human Resources Working knowledge of state and federal laws pertaining to employment and payroll processing Prior experience with computerized human resource information and payroll systems is preferred
Responsibilities and Expectations:
Responsible for final steps of onboarding and offboarding the dining management team members within the Microsoft teams channel, entry in the HRIS platform Process leave of absences for a region of communities identified by the Corporate Leave of Absence (LOA) Specialist Entering payroll processing information as pending pay entry items for specified communities Maintains document manager employee files, databases, and information (electronic and paper) in compliance with regulation and policy Supports the Benefits and Payroll team including the LOA specialist to ensure document manager is up-to-date Assists with the development, implementation, and enhancements of the HRIS platform including, scheduling, benefits, leave of absence, payroll, and time and attendance Performs regular maintenance updates in the HRIS platform and configuration Reviews Benefit Premium and Benefit Arrears reports Responsible for assisting with the preparation of the retirement annual audit and any day to day items as assigned Responsible for routine employment verifications and other legitimate requests in accordance with organizational policy
