Staffing Coordinator Responsibilities:

Coordinate staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage and efficient use of resources Place orders for staffing assignments based on patient census and staff availability Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement staffing plans Monitor and report on staffing metrics, such as turnover rates and vacancy rates Develop and maintain relationships with staffing agencies to ensure timely and cost-effective placement of temporary staff Identify and address staffing gaps and provide recommendations for improvement Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives to optimize staffing processes and patient outcomes

Staffing Coordinator Requirements:

Prior experience in staffing coordination or a related field required, preferably in a nursing home Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups Experience with electronic staffing systems and software Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
