Job Description

Join the Vermont Foodbank as an EPeC Generalist and support employees throughout the employee experience. This full time, hourly, and in person position based out of the Barre office and reports to the Director-EPeC & Administration. We're looking for a people-focused, organized, and adaptable HR professional who enjoys building relationships and supporting a meaningful mission. What you'll do: Serve as a trusted HR resource for employees and supervisors. Support recruiting, benefits, HR processes, and more. Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems. Position Purpose:
Working closely with the Director of Equity, People & Culture and Administration, this position supports supervisors and staff in a number of EPeC related areas. This position is responsible for maintaining and improving many of the critical day-to-day processes of the department, including recruiting, onboarding, HRIS coordination and maintenance, benefits, absence management, and back-up reception duties. The Generalist is responsible for providing the highest level of service possible to our colleagues, volunteers, clients, and community. Building equity and racial justice into Vermont Foodbank's organizational practices is everyone's responsibility, and it requires the commitment and collaboration of every employee and team.
