Primary Work Location St Rose campus (Milwaukee) with weekly travel Dousman, WI. Position Purpose The HR Generalist ensures Lad Lake has an effective, responsive, and compliant employee lifecycle—from attracting qualified candidates through hiring, onboarding, benefits, leave, employment changes, and ongoing HR support. The Generalist owns recruiting for assigned positions and serves as a key operational connection between candidates, employees, leaders, and HR. They ensure candidates and employees experience HR processes that reflect Lad Lake's mission and THRIVE. Primary Outcomes Critical positions are filled with qualified people. Recruiting produces strong candidate pipelines and qualified hires. Hiring managers have effective recruiting partnership. Leaders receive timely and knowledgeable support throughout the hiring process. Candidates experience a professional, mission-connected hiring process. Candidates understand the work, expectations, and value of joining Lad Lake. Employees experience reliable HR processes. Benefits, leave, HRIS, onboarding, and employee lifecycle processes are accurate and timely. HR workforce data is reliable. Leaders can make decisions using accurate workforce information. Full-cycle recruiting experience required. Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and employment requirements. Benefits and HRIS experience. ADP Workforce Now preferred. SHRM-CP preferred. Master's degree preferred.
