Recruiting Manager / Branch Manager Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced Skilled Recruiter to identify, recruit, screen, and place qualified skilled and technical candidates with our clients. The ideal candidate has experience recruiting for skilled trades, manufacturing, maintenance, warehouse, logistics, construction, or other technical positions and is comfortable working in a fast-paced staffing environment. The Skilled Recruiter will manage the recruiting process from candidate sourcing through placement while maintaining strong communication with candidates, clients, and internal team members. Key Responsibilities Source qualified skilled and technical candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, networking, databases, and other recruiting channels. Recruit candidates for positions including skilled trades, maintenance, machine operators, welders, electricians, mechanics, technicians, forklift operators, and other specialized roles. Review resumes and applications to determine candidate qualifications and experience. Conduct phone, video, and in-person interviews and screenings. Verify candidate work history, skills, certifications, availability, and employment eligibility. Match qualified candidates with appropriate client job openings. Present qualified candidates to clients and coordinate interviews and start dates. Conduct reference checks, background checks, drug screenings, and other pre-employment requirements as applicable. Maintain accurate candidate information and recruiting activity in the ATS/CRM. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified skilled candidates. Follow up with candidates throughout the recruiting and onboarding process. Maintain regular communication with placed employees to support retention and resolve issues. Work closely with Account Managers and Business Development staff to understand client hiring needs. Meet recruiting, placement, response-time, and retention goals. Assist with job postings and develop recruiting strategies for difficult-to-fill positions. Stay informed about local labor markets, wage trends, certifications, and hiring requirements. Provide a positive candidate experience and represent the company professionally. Qualifications 1+ years of recruiting experience, preferably within a staffing agency or high-volume recruiting environment. Experience recruiting skilled trades, technical, industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, or maintenance candidates preferred. Strong interviewing and candidate-screening skills. Ability to identify technical skills and match candidates to job requirements. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Comfortable making frequent phone calls and conducting candidate outreach. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, applicant tracking systems, job boards, and recruiting software. High school diploma or GED required; additional education or recruiting certifications are a plus. Compensation Competitive salary and commission/bonus opportunities based on experience and company compensation structure.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
