Job Description

Vocational Innovations is seeking an organized, dependable, and people-focused Recruiter to join our team. The Recruiter will work closely with hiring managers and administration to coordinate the full recruitment and hiring process, from job posting through onboarding. This is a hands-on recruiting position ideal for someone who is highly organized, communicates well, enjoys working with people, and can manage multiple hiring processes while meeting deadlines.

What You'll Do:

Manage job postings across approved recruiting platforms, including posting, updating, monitoring, closing, budgeting, and making recommendations to improve posting performance. Source, screen, and communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process. Schedule and coordinate onsite and Microsoft Teams interviews. Maintain consistent communication with candidates and hiring managers throughout the hiring process. Prepare offer letters, declination letters, rescission letters, and onboarding materials. Track candidate progress and ensure all required pre-employment requirements are completed. Monitor and maintain accurate records for background checks, Live Scan, DMV records, and other required screenings. Coordinate drug testing, physical examinations, and TB testing with approved clinics and testing facilities. Follow up with candidates regarding incomplete or outstanding requirements. Work with clinics, testing facilities, and other providers to obtain required documentation and results. Ensure candidates are cleared and ready to begin employment within established hiring timelines. Support recruiting events, career fairs, and other hiring initiatives. Maintain confidentiality of candidate and company information. Follow company hiring policies and applicable employment regulations. Track recruitment activity and hiring metrics and prepare reports as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required. 1-2 years of recruiting, staffing, human resources, or customer service experience preferred. Must be able to successfully complete a fingerprint Live Scan/background check. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Professional and presentable appearance. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Ability to work independently while maintaining strong communication with the onsite team. Basic computer skills and the ability to learn and use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other computer-based systems. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
