Non-Exempt - Hourly About the Position Access Community Action Agency is seeking a Monitor / Recruiter - CACFP to support our Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). This position works directly with program participants to help them understand and meet CACFP requirements. The Monitor / Recruiter conducts monitoring visits, recruits and trains participants, reviews monthly meal documentation and claims, and helps ensure accurate program records and reimbursements. What You'll Do Recruit, train, and support CACFP program participants. Conduct required participant monitoring and outreach. Build relationships with community partners to support recruitment and retention. Review menus, meal counts, and participant documentation for accuracy and eligibility. Prepare and process information needed for monthly CACFP reimbursements. Maintain accurate and confidential program records. Assist with program reports and administrative activities. Travel throughout the program service area, including visits to participants' home-based businesses. What We're Looking For High school diploma and 3+ years of progressively responsible experience in early childhood and/or nutrition. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Excellent organization, attention to detail, and time management. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Comfortable working with people from a variety of backgrounds. Proficiency with Google Workspace and the ability to learn program-specific systems. Ability to travel to participant locations as required. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
Compensation Base Rate:
$18.50 This is an hourly, non-exempt position. Join Access At Access Community Action Agency, our work is focused on strengthening individuals, families, and communities. We're looking for someone who is organized, approachable, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing community-based work with the documentation and compliance requirements of a federally funded nutrition program.
