We are a temporary staffing firm with branch locations throughout the Carolinas, Florida, and the Southeast United States.   • $18+++ per hour and up based on experience.
Monday-Friday, must be available to open @ 5:30 AM and/or close at 6:30 PM. Spanish/English bilingual a plus Job Description Summary The Office Admin/Recruiter supports the Branch Manager and daily operations of a construction and industrial staffing branch location. This role combines front-office administration with hands-on recruiting: performing administrative duties on internal and Microsoft Office software, recruiting and managing temporary workers in the community, and helping ensure the smooth, efficient running of the branch. The ideal candidate is people-oriented, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with little supervision, with the ability to step into a leadership role in the office when the Branch Manager is in the field. Duties & Responsibilities
  • Support the Branch Manager and perform all administrative duties using proprietary staffing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Recruit workers out in the community; receive and make phone calls, and organize text messages and email to candidates.
  • Open/close branch location as assigned
  • Make sales calls via phone and in person, and stay late as needed to fill open positions.
  • Perform check-ins as needed and respond promptly to emails, temp-to-hire employees, and clients.
  • Communicate promptly with management and customers via phone, email, and text message while multitasking.
  • Utilize Excel spreadsheets and navigate the internal system for data entry.
  • Take on the responsibilities of the office as a leader when the Branch Manager is out in the field.
  • Recruit temporary workers out in the community and through outbound calls, texts, and emails
  • Receive and make phone calls to screen, schedule, and manage candidates and temporary staff
  • Control the daily flow of temporary labor and manage the workforce assigned to job sites
  • Conduct check-ins with temporary and temp-to-hire employees as needed
  • Make sales calls by phone and in person, and stay late as needed to fill open orders
  • Respond to calls and fill orders on weekends as needed
  • Communicate promptly and clearly with management, clients, and employees while multitasking
  • Maintain a sense of urgency in filling orders and communicating with clients
  • Occasionally be available on the weekends/evenings as needed What We're Looking For
  • Great communication skills, both written and verbal, and a detail-oriented approach.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to learn new tasks quickly and follow instructions.
  • A good personality to interact with temporary staff and control the flow of work; a "People First" attitude.
  • Comfortable and competent prioritizing work and operating with little supervision; self-motivated and trustworthy.
  • Prior staffing agency or day-labor recruiting experience preferred, ideally in construction, skilled trades, light industrial, or manufacturing.
  • Experience with staffing software preferred (training provided).
  • A sense of urgency filling orders, speaking with clients, and communicating information; a team player who is structured and organized.
  • Flexible and adaptable as the priorities of the position change, including occasional evenings and weekend availability.
