Job Description

Statewide Healthcare Recruiter / Retention Specialist Position Overview VIP Executive Search is partnering with a growing healthcare organization to identify an experienced Statewide Healthcare Recruiter / Retention Specialist to support recruitment and employee retention initiatives across multiple locations throughout the state. This position will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle for a variety of clinical, operational, and administrative roles while also supporting initiatives designed to strengthen employee engagement, improve retention, and reduce turnover. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, relationship-driven recruiting professional who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-location environment and traveling throughout the state as needed. Prior experience recruiting within the healthcare, home health, medical, or related industries is required. Key Responsibilities Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for clinical, administrative, operational, and support positions across multiple locations. Partner with hiring managers and organizational leadership to understand staffing needs, position requirements, and workforce priorities. Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify qualified candidates through job boards, social media, professional networks, referrals, community outreach, and other recruiting channels. Build and maintain strong pipelines of qualified candidates for current and anticipated hiring needs. Conduct candidate screening interviews and assess experience, qualifications, career goals, and overall fit. Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers. Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process to provide a positive candidate experience. Support offer preparation, candidate follow-up, and onboarding coordination. Develop recruiting strategies for hard-to-fill and high-volume positions. Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruiting activity within applicant tracking systems and internal reporting tools. Monitor recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, candidate conversion, turnover, and retention trends. Analyze employee retention data and identify trends that may contribute to turnover. Partner with leadership and human resources to develop and implement strategies designed to improve employee retention and engagement. Conduct employee follow-up initiatives, stay interviews, or other retention-related conversations as needed. Assist with identifying workforce concerns and recommend solutions to improve the employee experience. Develop and maintain relationships with colleges, universities, professional organizations, workforce development agencies, and community partners. Attend career fairs, hiring events, networking functions, and community events to promote employment opportunities. Travel to company locations throughout the state to support recruiting, employee engagement, and retention initiatives. Collaborate with leadership across multiple locations to ensure consistent recruiting practices and workforce planning. Maintain confidentiality and comply with applicable employment laws, organizational policies, and recruiting best practices. Support additional talent acquisition and employee retention projects as needed. Required Qualifications Previous experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, staffing, human resources, or a related field. Demonstrated experience managing the full-cycle recruitment process. Strong sourcing, interviewing, and candidate assessment skills. Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to build trusted relationships with candidates, employees, hiring managers, and senior leadership. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple openings and priorities simultaneously. Ability to work independently and take ownership of recruitment and retention initiatives. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-location environment. Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, job boards, Microsoft Office, and other recruiting technology. Ability and willingness to travel throughout the state as required. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, where applicable. Preferred Qualifications Previous recruiting experience within healthcare, home health, medical services, behavioral health, skilled nursing, or a related healthcare environment . Experience recruiting clinical professionals and healthcare support staff. Experience supporting recruitment across multiple locations or a statewide territory. Familiarity with employee retention programs, workforce analytics, and turnover reduction strategies. Experience developing talent pipelines for difficult-to-fill positions. Experience with recruitment marketing, social media sourcing, and community outreach. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus. Travel Requirements This position requires regular travel throughout Dade & Broward county to support recruiting activities, hiring initiatives, employee engagement efforts, and organizational staffing needs. Candidates should be comfortable maintaining a flexible schedule and traveling between company locations as business needs require.
