Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Recruiter to join our client's talent acquisition team on a contract basis (6+ months, with the opportunity for contract-to-hire). The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of full cycle recruiting principles for manufacturing/engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process for both exempt and non-exempt positions, including drafting and posting job advertisements, proactively sourcing candidates, reviewing resumes, conducting initial screenings, and facilitating interviews. Utilize the internal SAP system in alignment with workforce planning guidelines to track recruitment activities and maintain accurate candidate records. Build and maintain a strong employer brand and social media recruiting presence through platforms such as LinkedIn, Glassdoor, college recruitment sites, the company website, and other relevant job boards. Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, provide consultative guidance throughout the recruitment process, and communicate progress and feedback in a timely manner. Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates for critical and hard-to-fill positions using diverse sourcing strategies (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed, professional associations, networking events). Collaborate with department leaders to create, update, and refine job descriptions to ensure accuracy and alignment with organizational needs. Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to recruitment and employment. Participate in employer branding initiatives, career fairs, and campus recruitment activities to attract top talent.
Qualifications:
3+ years as a full cycle corporate recruiter for manufacturing and engineering requisitions. Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Exceptional attention to detail, strong follow-up skills, and excellent organizational abilities. High level of adaptability, flexibility, and resourcefulness in a fast-paced environment. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining a high standard of work. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and effective working relationships at all levels of the organization. In-depth knowledge of labor and employment laws and best practices in recruitment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented mindset. #HR/ADMIN9
