Job Description

Recruitment & Credentialing Specialist (Part-time)
Position Summary:
The Recruitment & Credentialing Specialist is responsible for supporting the organization's talent acquisition and credentialing functions. This position manages recruitment activities, candidate screening, onboarding coordination, credential verification, licensing compliance, and employee file maintenance. The specialist serves as a key resource in ensuring that qualified candidates are recruited, onboarded efficiently, and maintain all required credentials in compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Talent Acquisition Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned positions Create and post job advertisements on internal and external job boards Review applications and conduct initial candidate screenings Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers Conduct reference checks and employment verifications Maintain applicant tracking records and recruitment metrics Build candidate pipelines to support ongoing staffing needs Participate in job fairs, recruitment events, and community outreach activities Credentialing Verify professional licenses, certifications, education, and employment history Maintain credentialing records Monitor expiration dates for licenses, certifications, registrations, and required trainings Coordinate renewals and ensure timely completion of required documentation Conduct periodic audits of employee credentials and personnel files Ensure compliance with organizational policies and applicable regulatory requirements Onboarding Support Coordinate pre-employment screening activities, including background checks, fingerprinting, and drug testing Prepare onboarding documentation for new hires Assist employees with credentialing and compliance-related processes Qualifications Associate degree in Human Recourses, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field: equivalent experience may be considered Minimum of a year experience in recruiting, staffing, credentialing, human resources, or related field Experience managing confidential information Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and database systems Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism Customer service orientation and relationship-building skills
