Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and experienced Full-Cycle Recruiter to manage the recruiting process from initial candidate sourcing through offer and placement. This role will support hiring across five facilities throughout New York State and will work closely with hiring managers, executives, and candidates to ensure positions are filled efficiently and with strong candidates. The ideal candidate is a strong recruiter who can manage multiple openings and candidates at various stages of the process while maintaining excellent communication, organization, and follow-up. This person must be comfortable taking ownership of the recruiting process and developing an in-depth understanding of the positions, departments, and organizations they support.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Manage the full-cycle recruiting process from job opening through hire Conduct candidate outreach, phone screens, virtual interviews, and in-person interviews Source and identify qualified candidates through job boards, resume databases, social media, networking, referrals, and direct/head-hunting efforts Review applications and resumes and identify candidates who meet position requirements Present qualified candidates and resumes to hiring managers for consideration Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers, including scheduling and follow-up Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the recruiting process and provide timely status updates Follow up with hiring managers regarding candidates who have been submitted and interviews that have taken place Track candidate activity and ensure applicants do not get lost or overlooked during the hiring process Provide regular updates to executives and hiring managers regarding open positions, candidate pipelines, interview activity, and recruiting progress Develop a strong understanding of each position being recruited, including job responsibilities, required skills, qualifications, work environment, schedule, and compensation Proactively assess staffing needs and anticipate potential future vacancies by working with hiring managers to identify positions that may require replacement or additional recruiting support. Develop an in-depth understanding of the five facilities and the unique staffing needs of each organization Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings Attend job fairs, career events, networking events, and other recruiting activities as needed Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and adjust recruiting strategies accordingly Maintain accurate and up-to-date applicant tracking and recruiting records Assist with reference checks, pre-employment requirements, offer processes, and other recruiting-related activities Identify recruiting challenges and proactively communicate potential issues or delays Assist the HR team with other daily HR functions outside the scope of recruiting, including updating policies and procedures, preparing company memos and communications, data entry and filing, company event planning, and other HR-related administrative tasks and projects as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous full-cycle recruiting experience required Strong experience with candidate sourcing and direct/head-hunting Experience conducting phone screens, virtual interviews, and in-person interviews Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Highly organized with exceptional follow-up and time-management skills Ability to manage multiple open positions and candidates simultaneously Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate recruiting records Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and stay on top of multiple recruiting activities Strong follow-through and accountability from initial candidate contact through hire Comfortable communicating with candidates, hiring managers, executives, and employees at all levels Ability to quickly learn and understand different positions, departments, and business operations Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, job boards, Microsoft Office, and other recruiting tools Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with hiring managers and leadership
Successful Candidate:
The successful candidate will be a proactive recruiter who takes ownership of their openings, stays ahead of follow-up, and keeps hiring managers and leadership informed. They should be comfortable balancing high-volume recruiting with the need to thoroughly understand each position and identify candidates who are a strong match for the organization.
Compensation & Benefits Pay:
$60,000-$68,000/yr, based on experience.
