Job Description

HR Recruiter & Caregiver Talent Manager About JanCare JanCare is a licensed home care services agency providing personalized care to private-pay clients in their homes throughout Westchester, Putnam, and Dutchess counties. What You'll Do The HR Recruiter & Caregiver Talent Manager is responsible for recruiting, onboarding, supporting, and retaining qualified caregivers while helping ensure that employee records and hiring practices remain compliant with JanCare policies and applicable New York State home care requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
 Recruit qualified HHAs, PCAs, and other home care professionals who meet JanCare's standards for professionalism, reliability, and quality of care.  Manage the caregiver recruitment process from candidate sourcing and interviewing through hiring and onboarding.  Screen candidates and verify required employment credentials and documentation.  Coordinate new-hire onboarding and ensure required documentation is completed before caregivers are cleared for assignment.  Maintain accurate, complete, and current employee personnel and compliance files.  Track required employee credentials, health documentation, training, background checks, and other compliance requirements.  Coordinate CHRC and HCS-related caregiver hiring requirements, as applicable.  Monitor employee compliance and follow up promptly on missing or expiring documentation.  Build and maintain an active caregiver pipeline to support current and anticipated client staffing needs.  Develop strategies to improve caregiver engagement, satisfaction, and retention.  Maintain regular communication with caregivers and help address workplace concerns professionally and promptly.  Support employee performance management, including documentation, coaching, corrective action, and follow-up when appropriate.  Work closely with operations and clinical staff to help ensure caregivers are appropriately matched with client needs.  Maintain confidentiality of employee, applicant, and client information.  Stay current with applicable home care employment and regulatory requirements.  Continue professional development through training, industry events, and networking opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS
 High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.  Minimum of three years of experience in staffing, recruiting, HR coordination, or healthcare workforce management.  Experience recruiting and onboarding caregivers or other healthcare professionals strongly preferred.  Working knowledge of New York State DOH requirements applicable to LHCSA caregiver hiring and employee compliance.  Familiarity with HCS (Health Commerce System), CHRC procedures, and new-hire compliance documentation.  Familiarity with OSHA, HIPAA, Workers' Compensation, New York State Paid Family Leave, and FMLA as they relate to the workplace.  Strong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to documentation and compliance deadlines.  Strong interviewing, communication, and relationship-building skills.  Ability to manage multiple candidates, employees, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.  Professional judgment and discretion when handling confidential employee information. Preferred Qualifications  Experience recruiting caregivers for private-pay, concierge, or premium home care services.  Demonstrated success improving caregiver recruitment and retention.  Experience working within the New York State LHCSA regulatory environment.  Hands-on experience with HCS and CHRC processes. Work Location On-site position only. This is not a remote position.
Compensation Salary Range:
