Up to $75,000/yr Must commute daily to Phelps or Auburn, NY Responsible for recruiting CDL A drivers and company staff positions. This individual will maintain excellent relations with hiring managers, candidates, and outside personnel resources. Prefer a wide degree of creativity, business understanding, and personal organization.
High School Diploma; must be able to read, write, and do basic math.
Associate's Degree in Business; HR or Marketing a plus.
Experience recruiting in the transportation industry preferred.
Must commute daily to Phelps or Auburn, NY
Writing and oral communication skills.
Ability to appropriately handle sensitive and confidential information.
Must have computer experience, including working with internet job boards, as well as an ATS.
Working knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and the internet.
Ability to navigate and update Indeed, and to work with ATS systems such as Tenstreet.
Must possess excellent organizational skills. Must maintain a valid driver's license.
Ability to sit for extended periods of time at a desk for the majority of an eight-hour day.
Ability to lift small boxes of office supplies weighing up to 20 pounds.
Ability and strength to operate a keyboard, copy machine, printer, fax machine, and phone.
Ability to climb one flight of stairs.
Make and receive calls from prospective candidates.
Confer with all hiring managers to identify personnel needs.
Participate in the development of ongoing creative and cost-effective sourcing strategies.
Follow up on all possible employment leads.
Develop solid working relations with outside recruiting sources.
Occasional participation in company recruiting events, orientation, and job fairs.
Review resumes and applications for appropriateness of skills, experience, and knowledge in relation to the position requirements.
Schedule and coordinate hiring documents and processes.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in attracting, sourcing, and hiring top talent across various departments within the organization. This position requires a strong understanding of human resources practices and a passion for building relationships with candidates and hiring managers alike. The Corporate Recruiter will be instrumental in enhancing our recruitment strategies, ensuring we meet our staffing needs effectively while promoting our company culture. Transportation Industry experience is preferred. Pay rate is based on level of experience. Responsibilities Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies. Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and career fairs. Conduct interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and cultural fit for the organization. Manage the full recruitment cycle from job posting to offers and onboarding. Utilize applicant tracking systems such as Tenstreet for efficient candidate management. Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment process to ensure a positive experience. Assist in employee relations initiatives by providing insights on talent acquisition trends and candidate feedback. Engage in lead generation activities to identify potential candidates for future openings. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruiting to continuously improve processes. Qualifications Proven experience in recruiting or human resources, with a focus on corporate environments. Strong knowledge of HR sourcing techniques and tools, including familiarity with Tenstreet and Paycom. Excellent interviewing skills with the ability to assess candidates effectively. Exceptional relationship management skills to foster connections with both candidates and internal stakeholders. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
