Talent Acquisition and Recruitment Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and highly organized Talent Acquisition and Recruitment Specialist to join our Human Resources Department. This position will lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for a variety of roles, including technical, executive, campus, professional, field, and high-volume positions. The ideal candidate is a proactive recruiter with strong sourcing, relationship-building, and communication skills who can identify top talent and manage multiple hiring priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts for diverse roles, including technical, executive, campus, professional, field, and high-volume positions. Partner with hiring managers and department leaders to identify staffing needs, establish job requirements, and determine hiring priorities. Create clear and engaging job descriptions and post open positions across appropriate recruiting platforms. Develop innovative sourcing strategies using social media marketing, HR sourcing tools, professional networks, and talent management software. Conduct candidate sourcing through research, cold calling, social networks, résumé databases, referrals, and direct outreach. Manage the entire recruitment cycle, including résumé screening, candidate interviews, interview coordination, offer negotiations, pre-employment screenings, and onboarding. Prepare offer letters and clearly communicate compensation, benefits, employment terms, and onboarding requirements to selected candidates. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external recruiting agencies, educational institutions, community organizations, and industry contacts. Establish and maintain talent pipelines to support current and future staffing needs. Utilize HR systems and applicant-tracking platforms, including UltiPro, Kenexa BrassRing, and other ATS platforms, to track applicant data and manage candidate pipelines. Maintain accurate and confidential recruitment records and generate reports to evaluate hiring activity, time-to-fill, candidate sources, and recruiting outcomes. Monitor recruitment metrics and use data to identify opportunities to improve sourcing and hiring strategies. Coordinate employment reference checks, background screenings, drug testing, and other pre-employment requirements. Maintain timely and professional communication with candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process. Support new-hire orientation, onboarding, and completion of required employment documentation. Remain current on employment and labor laws related to recruiting and talent management. Ensure all recruiting, interviewing, selection, and hiring practices comply with applicable employment laws, HR legal standards, and company policies. Provide additional support to the Human Resources Department as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, staffing, or human resources is required. Experience managing full-cycle recruitment for multiple positions simultaneously. Experience recruiting for technical, executive, campus, field, or high-volume positions is preferred. Strong candidate-sourcing, interviewing, and offer-negotiation skills. Experience using applicant-tracking systems and HR platforms, such as UltiPro, Kenexa BrassRing, or comparable systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational, research, and time-management abilities. Ability to manage changing priorities and meet hiring deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to develop strong professional relationships with candidates, hiring managers, agencies, and external partners. Knowledge of federal and state employment laws governing recruitment, interviewing, and hiring. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, social media recruiting tools, and online job platforms. Schedule:
Flexible, on-site position. Standard hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with Fridays 9:00 AM -3:00

Pay:
$23.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
