Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Recruiter specialized in Trucking to join our talent acquisition team. Responsibilities Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for trucking roles, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding candidates across high-volume hiring campaigns. Utilize talent management software and applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as iCIMS, Workday, or Lever to manage candidate pipelines efficiently. Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies through social media marketing (recruitment), job boards, cold calling, and research to generate high-quality candidate leads. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to understand staffing needs and deliver tailored talent solutions. Conduct comprehensive interviews focusing on technical recruiting skills, employment law compliance, and cultural fit for trucking operations. Manage candidate sourcing through HR sourcing techniques, campus recruitment initiatives, and external recruiting channels to ensure a diverse talent pool. Maintain compliance with HR legal standards such as employment & labor law while ensuring all contracts, employee orientation, and employee relations processes are properly handled. Qualifications Proven experience in recruiting within the trucking or logistics industry with a strong understanding of high-volume recruitment processes. Demonstrated expertise in negotiation, relationship management, and candidate sourcing across multiple channels including social media management. Proficiency with HR systems such as Workday, Paychex, Kronos, UltiPro, Taleo, or PeopleSoft; experience with ATS platforms like iCIMS or Lever is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of employment law in talent management and HR legal compliance related to transportation staffing. Excellent communication skills with the ability to conduct effective interviews and build rapport with candidates at all levels. Familiarity with technical recruiting tools and HRIS systems such as Salesforce or ADP for seamless candidate tracking and data management. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple requisitions efficiently. A proactive mindset with training & development skills to support employee onboarding and succession planning initiatives.
