The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process for the Credit Union, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates. This role supports the employee lifecycle from recruitment through onboarding and plays a key role in ensuring a positive candidate and new hire experience. In addition to talent acquisition responsibilities, the Talent Acquisition Specialist assists with the administration of human resources programs, maintains compliance with federal and state regulations, and supports employee communications related to HR policies and procedures. The position also participates in community outreach efforts, such as job fairs and campus recruiting events, to strengthen the Credit Union's talent pipeline. This is an onsite position located in Corinth, TX Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. Regular work attendance is an essential function of the job. Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding employees.
Conduct background checks, and employee verification.
Facilitate new hire orientation and support employee understanding of HR policies and programs.
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Prepare HR reports and support audits as needed.
Assist employees, managers, and applicants with HR-related questions and issues.
Support employee engagement initiatives, company events, and training activities.
Stay current on HR best practices and employment regulations.
