Job Description
StaffMode is a rapidly growing staffing firm placing talent into energy, industrial, manufacturing, and related sectors. We're looking for a self-directed recruiter who operates with a business-owner mindset—someone who takes full ownership of their pipeline, results, and client relationships with minimal day-to-day oversight once trained on our processes. You'll join an experienced leadership team that provides clear systems, guidance, and support so you can focus on execution and growth. What You'll Own Source and manage a consistent, high-volume flow of qualified candidates through active and passive methods (job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, networking, etc.). Screen, interview, and qualify candidates efficiently while maintaining high standards and strong candidate experience. Partner with leadership to identify priority accounts, target skill sets, and high-opportunity market segments. Build and maintain relationships with candidates, clients, and industry contacts to generate referrals, leads, and long-term business. Handle multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously with strong communication, organization, and follow-through. Deliver responsive customer service to both candidates and clients throughout the process. Use standard tools (Word, Excel, ATS/CRM systems, email, LinkedIn, etc.) proficiently; comfort learning new systems is expected. What Success Looks Like You treat your desk like a business. You're proactive about pipeline, accountable for activity and results, and consistently move candidates and deals forward without waiting to be told what to do next. You learn the process quickly, then run it independently while collaborating with the team when it drives better outcomes. Requirements Proven ability to work independently with minimal oversight after onboarding. Strong communication, time-management, and multi-tasking skills. Comfortable with high activity volume and measurable results. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and common recruiting/sales tools. Professional, reliable, and results-oriented. Preferred Prior experience in high-volume recruiting, staffing, sales, or related HR roles. Bachelor's or Associate's degree, relevant industry experience, military background, or recent graduate with demonstrated drive. Existing network or knowledge in energy, industrial, manufacturing, or blue-collar/skilled trades sectors. Compensation & Schedule Base salary with uncapped commission plan
