We are a regional trucking company based in the St. Louis, MO area seeking an experienced CDL Driver Recruiter & Safety Manager. We need a strong, reliable self-starter who knows the trucking industry and can take ownership of both driver recruiting and DOT/safety compliance. We are looking for someone who sees what needs to be done, takes initiative, and gets results without constant direction.

Key Responsibilities:

Actively recruit CDL drivers through Indeed, Facebook, Tenstreet, referrals, social media, direct outreach, and other recruiting channels Maintain a strong driver pipeline and work aggressively to keep trucks filled Manage applicant screening, hiring, and onboarding Maintain

DOT/FMCSA

compliance and driver qualification files Monitor Hours of Service, ELDs, MVRs, Clearinghouse, medical cards, safety performance, and driver compliance Handle safety issues, violations, accidents, documentation, and corrective actions Assist with fleet maintenance compliance, records, and preventative maintenance requirements Work closely with drivers, dispatch, maintenance, and management

Qualifications:

Strong trucking industry experience required Thorough knowledge of

DOT/FMCSA

regulations required CDL driver recruiting experience required Tenstreet experience strongly preferred Motive experience preferred Strong understanding of ELDs, HOS, DQ files, CSA/SMS, and fleet compliance Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through Must be dependable, proactive, results-driven, and able to work independently We are not looking for someone who simply posts job ads and waits for applications. We need someone who actively recruits, follows up, finds qualified drivers, stays on top of compliance, and takes ownership of their responsibilities. Remote work may be available for qualified candidates who live within 75 miles of St. Louis, MO and can come into the office when needed. Salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications plus bonuses.
