What Youll DoAs a Benefits Education Trainer, you will be responsible for ensuring the creation and delivery of knowledge, tools and resources for various day-to-day member service functions, new hire training, projects implementations, and other related assignments. The ideal candidate will work alongside the rest of the Benefits Education Training team to analyze and identify training needs and will oversee all aspects of the training program including, but not limited to, designing training curriculum or topics, developing training materials, conducting training sessions, performing needs assessments, evaluating the effectiveness of training, and maintaining training statistics and providing reports to managers and other stakeholders.

Training Design & DeliveryDesign, develop, and maintain training curriculum, materials, job aids, and reference guidesDeliver engaging instructor-led and technology-supported training sessionsUtilize multiple training methods and learning technologies, including a Learning Management System (LMS)Tailor content to various learning styles and levels of experienceDevelop onboarding programsPension Administration System TrainingPrepare staff for User Acceptance Testing (UAT), parallel testing, and go-live readinessSupport change readiness efforts through structured Organizational Change Management (OCM) activitiesIntroduce new system functionality and reinforce understanding of enhancementsOperational Support & CoachingCoach and guide employees on operational protocols and best practicesPartner with benefit teams to create and maintain standard operating proceduresAssist in developing quality assurance guidelines and performance metricsProvide constructive feedback and support continuous improvement effortsEvaluation & Continuous ImprovementConduct training needs assessmentsMeasure training effectiveness using evaluation tools and feedback mechanismsMaintain training records and provide reports to leadershipStay current on adult learning trends, pension legislation, and training best practicesContinuously refine curriculum based on feedback, system updates, and process improvementsRequired QualificationsBachelors degree in Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Training & Development, Business, Communications or a related fieldA total of one (1) year (12 months) in education, training and/or work experience in the area of specialization inherent to the position. (

Masters Degree in an area consistent with the duties of the position may be substituted for one (1) year of work experience.)Experience developing and delivering training Preferred QualificationsExperience administering or utilizing a Learning Management System (LMS)Familiarity with ADKAR or similar Change Management frameworksProfessional certification in training and development such as APTD, CPTD, or similarExperience developing and delivering training within benefits, pension, financial services, insurance, or public-section environmentsExperience supporting training for large-scale system implementationsKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesAbility to translate complex processes into clear, actionable learning contentKnowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effectsSkill in analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.

This is a competitive salary, taking into consideration experience and internal equity. Highly-qualified candidates may be offered a salary higher than the above range.
