CORMETECH, Inc. was founded in 1989 and provides environmental engineering solutions and services to the North American and world's power, marine, industrial-process, refinery, and petrochemical markets. It is servicing the growth needs of the U.S. power generating fleet to comply with increasingly stringent environmental regulations in a cost-effective way.
CORMETECH
has fully dedicated, state-of-the art manufacturing facilities, research and development centers and testing laboratories in Cleveland (TN), Durham (NC), and Kings Mountain (NC). All full-time employees are eligible for benefits on day one of employment.
POSITION SUMMARY
Determine training needs in accordance with OSHA's regulations, ISO requirements and Cormetech's training requirements and implement training programs.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Determine organizations training needs through needs analysis and assessment. Identify outside sources for training as necessary. Organize and conduct training, orientation, and educational programs to meet organizational and skills development needs. Training activities may range from on-the-job skill training to supervisory/management development. Follow up on effectiveness of programs to access appropriateness of materials. Monitor and maintain training standards to ensure compliance with both State and Federal employment regulations and Cormetech policies and procedures. Maintain documentation on personnel transactions such as training, team meetings, orientations, certifications, promotions and transfers. Administer and maintain Cormetech's Pay for Performance Program.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
High school diploma or GED required; technical or associate degree preferred and relevant work experience Acceptable knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) Excellent oral and written communication skills The ability to work on his/her own and with a team The ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast pace environment Working knowledge in the area of Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) guidelines preferred Knowledge of adult learning theory Flexibility to provide training on all shifts is required Work Schedule Day Shift Cormetech, Inc.is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
