WHAT WE ARE HUNGRYFOR

We are seeking adetail-oriented and creative Training & Development Manager to support thebuildout of training programs across both our café and corporate environments.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating engaging, easy-to-followlearning materials, is skilled in project coordination, and thrives in afast-paced, collaborative setting. The primary focusof this role will be to help build end-to-end training programs, managecorporate compliance training, and support onboarding and orientation efforts.

The ideal candidate has strong writing skills, a sharp eye for program designand structure, and the ability to translate training goals into practical toolsthat align with our brand values and business priorities.

KNOWLEDGE ANDRESPONSIBILITIES

Build completetraining programs from provided direction, including guides, workbooks, jobaids, and interactive learning tools. Create trainingcontent for both café and corporate teams, ensuring materials are aligned withbrand and operational standards. Develop and managecorporate compliance training, including course assignments, tracking, andreporting. Support theDirector of Training & Development with project execution, resourcecreation, and training rollouts. Build structuredtraining plans for new corporate hires by partnering with hiring managers toidentify onboarding needs. Coordinate in-cafétraining for corporate hires when applicable. Facilitate Day Onecorporate orientation sessions. Produce trainingvideos and supplemental learning tools as needed. Design evaluationtools such as quizzes, surveys, and feedback forms to assess trainingeffectiveness and summarize results. Visit cafes, as needed, to observe operations, gatherinsights, and ensure training materials address real-world challenges. Serve as theprimary contact for training reporting, including LMS completions, trainingevaluations, and compliance metrics. Other duties may beassigned.

WHAT YOU NEED TOHAVE

Bachelor's degree orequivalent experience preferred. At least 3-5 yearsof experience in training and development, particularly in retail/restaurant operationsrequired. Proficiency inMicrosoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams) required. Experience creatingcourse materials, job aids, guides, and assessment tools. Strong writing and editingskills required. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability toeffectively balance priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced,ever-changing, and highly entrepreneurial environment. Feedback is a gift!
