Horry-Georgetown Technical College (HGTC) is a two -year community/technical college that offers more than 75 associate degree, diploma, and certificate programs for students who are either seeking quick entry into the workforce or desiring to transfer to a senior institution to pursue a bachelor s degree and serves approximately 9,000 credit students and 2,000 workforce development students each fall across three campuses along South Carolina s beautiful Grand Strand. As one of the state s largest technical colleges, HGTC is dedicated to providing accessible, affordable, and high-quality education that prepares students for university transfer, rewarding careers, and lifelong success. each fall and HGTC offers three convenient campus locations in South Carolina, including Myrtle Beach, Conway and Georgetown. Horry-Georgetown Technical College is seeking an experienced, visionary, and collaborative academic leader to serve as its Vice President for Academics and Workforce Development. This senior-level executive position provides college-wide leadership and strategic direction across all academic and workforce development areas and plays a critical role in advancing the College's mission, student success, and academic excellence. The Vice President for Academics and Workforce Development serves as a member of the College's Executive Cabinet, working collaboratively with the President and other executive leaders to establish strategic priorities, advance institutional initiatives, and support the continued growth and success of Horry-Georgetown Technical College.
Advertised Salary:
$155,783 (Minimum)- $197,943(Midpoint)
Minimum Requirements:
A Masters Degree in Educational Administration or Higher Ed, plus seven (7) years of progressively responsible related work experience.
