Position Overview Ivy Kids is hiring a Training and Development Manager to lead how we train and develop our people. You will own our training programs end to end — designing learning for our franchise owners, school leadership teams, classroom teachers, and corporate staff, and delivering it through both live sessions and our learning management system (LMS). You will partner with experts across curriculum, marketing, and operations to turn their knowledge into engaging, effective training, and you will own the systems that deliver and track it. This is a hybrid role based out of our corporate office in Katy, Texas, with time spent remotely and visiting our centers as needed. Your Role Training Strategy and Design Own the overall training strategy and roadmap across all of our audiences. Design training programs that start from clear learning outcomes and build the right content, format, and sequence to achieve them. Partner with subject matter experts to turn their expertise into engaging, interactive training rather than static slide decks. Choose the right mix of self-paced and live training for each program. Learning Systems and Tools Own and administer the

LMS:

build and maintain courses and learning paths for owners, leadership, teachers, and staff. Author and update self-paced e-learning content and keep the training library current. Manage and maintain EzeeAssist, our AI-powered support tool for franchisees, keeping its content accurate and up to date so users get reliable answers. Track training completion and progress, and use that data to improve programs. Delivery and Facilitation Facilitate live training sessions, both virtual and in person. Coordinate delivery across the team, assigning sessions to the right facilitator or subject matter expert. Deliver a consistent, high-quality training experience across programs. Collaboration and Continuous Improvement Work closely with our curriculum, marketing, and operations teams to keep training aligned and effective. Measure whether training is achieving its goals and continuously refine content and delivery. Support onboarding and ongoing development for new owners, leaders, teachers, and staff. Your Qualifications 5+ years of experience in learning and development, instructional design, or corporate/adult training. Experience designing training programs end to end, grounded in adult-learning principles. Hands-on experience administering a learning management system (LMS) and authoring self-paced e-learning content. Comfort managing digital learning and support tools, including AI-based or knowledge-base platforms. Experience designing and delivering training for different audiences. Proven ability to partner with subject matter experts and translate their knowledge into effective, engaging training. Strong facilitation skills across both virtual and in-person settings. Proficiency with LMS and e-learning authoring platforms, presentation tools, and Canva. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Experience in early childhood education or franchising is a plus. Based in the Houston / Katy area, with some travel to centers as needed (up to approximately 25%).
