Applicants are encouraged to apply as early as possible. Key Responsibilities Incumbent serves as the Training & Adoption lead for the Technology & Innovation (T&I) team. Plans, organizes, and directs training operations and go-to-market communications; performs needs assessments to assure that training fulfills agency needs, objectives, and user adoption goals for newly implemented technological solutions. Defines operating objectives and training plans to meet short and long-term goals; coordinates the change management and learning process; creates a positive and inclusive learning environment. Tracks adoption metrics, ensures job aids are accessible at the point of need, and gathers initial user feedback to ensure a smooth handoff to the continuous improvement stage. Qualifications Examples of Duties Supervises subordinate personnel including: hiring, determining workload and delegating assignments, training, monitoring and evaluating performance, and initiating corrective or disciplinary actions. Conducts training needs assessments with division stakeholders and recommends training programs. Develops, coordinates the delivery of, and evaluates training modules, instructional materials, teaching aids, and quick reference guides/job aids. Coordinates and executes go-to-market communication plans with divisions to ensure staff are informed and prepared for new technological solutions. Tracks training completion and monitors user adoption metrics to establish baselines and evaluate the success of the implementation. Gathers user feedback and documents concerns to hand off to the Feedback & Improvement stage. Delivers presentations, stand-up training, or instruction to staff, management, clients, or the general public. Typical Qualifications (includes knowledge, skills, and abilities required upon entry into position and trainable after entry into position) Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects. Knowledge of change management principles, adoption measurement, and go-to-market communication planning. Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. Selecting and using training/instructional methods and procedures appropriate for the situation when learning or teaching new things. The ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking and writing so others will understand. Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. Teaching others how to do something. The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences
