United Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Barbara County are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Youth Development Specialist to join our team. As a Youth Development specialist, you will work closely with youth providing guidance, mentorship, and organizing engaging activities. Schedule consists of 4 - 6 hour shifts during program times. Applicants must be available to work: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 1:30 pm-6:15pm Wednesday from 12:30pm-6:15pm.

Job Summary:

Responsibilities Youth Engagement:

Develop and implement age-appropriate programs and activities that promote positive youth development. Foster a safe and inclusive environment where young people can learn, grow, and build meaningful connections.

Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with other staff members, volunteers, and community partners. Coordinate with local organizations to enhance program offerings and provide additional resources for youth.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of program attendance, incidents, and evaluations. Prepare reports as needed to assess program effectiveness and outcomes.
