Job Description

Analyst Analysts usually have a master's degree in business, natural sciences, or engineering and join us straight out of university. They exhibit strong analytical and communication skills and are integral members of project teams from the beginning. Next to on-the-job training, our Analysts will attend a series of internal trainings for their personal and professional growth after joining SDG. With experience, Analysts can be promoted to Associate Consultant. As integral members of project teams, analysts: Conduct business research and assessments Support client and industry expert interviews Support creation of financial and decision models Perform market and cost analyses Develop and refine client presentations support internal tasks and business development activities Associate Consultants Associate Consultants (ACs) usually have a master's degree in business or engineering along with relevant business or industry experience or a PhD in business, natural sciences, or engineering. They contribute to a varied mix of intellectually challenging projects. With experience, an AC can be promoted to a Consultant.
Project assignments might include:
Model development and evaluation Problem structuring and analysis Business research and assessment Conduct client interviews Generation of alternative strategies Meeting facilitation in small groups Client presentations Consultants Most SDG Consultants have MBAs or PhDs, along with relevant business or industry experience. Consultants enjoy considerable control and flexibility in mapping their first years at the company and in gaining experiences across a wide range of projects. With some guidance and support from Senior Engagement Managers, Principals and Partners, Consultants perform the following tasks: Problem formulation and analysis Client interviews Generation of alternative strategies Model development and evaluation Meeting facilitation in large groups Presentations to clients Start building an own network Lead smaller client engagements on their own Unsupervised workstream lead Engagement Managers Engagement Managers typically have MBAs or PhDs and significant business or consulting experience. As experienced hires with significant experience in managing complex problems with international teams in a consulting or industry environment, they will join SDG as Engagement Manager or in limited instances you may be brought in as a Principal. Engagement Managers are responsible for project success and start to leverage their own network to drive business development. They will have considerable control and flexibility in managing projects and junior SDG staff, and get the opportunity to work on a varied mix of projects.
Responsibilities include:
Project definition in the sales process (together with Principals and Partners) Full project responsibility Operational autonomy in project delivery Supervision of junior staff Development of junior staff Engage in business development activities Network development
