- Cairns We are currently looking for a dedicated and motivated Pre Employment Trainer to assist in a program for Retail Cleaners and Security officers to get into employment.
The Trainer is responsible for the coordination and delivery of a suite of programs and activities aimed at building individuals capacity to gain and sustain employment in retail industry This position: Development and delivery of PaTH Employability Skills Training Evaluate the capacity of the participants and develop strategies to build on their strength to gain employment Create a driven, client centered and positive training environment to young people Use best practice adult and youth learning principles to engage people in best ways to learn Develop creative strategies to better prepare participants for the work force Liaise with recruitment team assist with referrals to employment opportunities The following criteria is required: Certificate IV TAE (desirable upgrade

) Demonstrated experience in group training Employability skills; you know what it takes to get employed Highly developed communication, negotiation, consultation and interpersonal skills Capacity to interact with people from diverse backgrounds Dynamic, team player; you work toward common goals Demonstrated personal drive and integrity Sound understanding of the national Employability core skills framework Previous delivery of FSK Certificate II (Desirable) The position requires a current Drivers License and be able to work across Briabne, GoldCoast, Sunshine Coast on a roster.
