Are you an experienced corporate or technical training professional who knows how to build effective training programs and develop technical employees? Our client is a leading manufacturer of innovative conveyorized car wash equipment, technology, parts, and supplies. The company is experiencing significant growth and continues to invest in cutting-edge technology, people, and operational excellence . We are seeking a Training Manager to lead the organization's technical training, workforce readiness, and technician development initiatives. Working directly under the Director of Controls , this position will have a major focus on training Control Technicians who work with the company's technology, POS systems, applications, computer systems, and related controls. This is an excellent opportunity for a training professional who enjoys building programs from the ground up, working with technical teams, and making a measurable impact on employee performance and customer experience. What You'll Do Lead the organization's technical training and workforce development programs. Develop and deliver training programs specifically designed to prepare Control Technicians for field deployments, conversions, installations, and customer implementations. Design, implement, and continuously improve technical training curriculum based on operational requirements and technician performance. Develop structured onboarding, certification, and technician readiness programs . Create training materials including SOPs, manuals, technical documentation, operational workflows, presentations, and other learning resources. Deliver onsite, remote, instructor-led, and hybrid training programs. Partner directly with the Director of Controls to ensure technicians are properly trained on current and emerging control technologies. Work closely with Engineering, Product, Technical Support, Field Operations, and Leadership to ensure training remains aligned with new products, technology updates, and operational requirements. Establish and track KPIs related to technician readiness, training effectiveness, employee performance, and operational consistency. Evaluate technician capabilities and identify opportunities for additional training and development. Develop certification standards and processes to ensure technicians meet established competency requirements. Manage training schedules, certification tracking, training technologies, and workforce development programs. Support technician onboarding and ongoing professional development. Coach, mentor, and develop trainers and other training personnel. Provide leadership with reporting on training performance, workforce readiness, risks, and improvement opportunities. Standardize training procedures and readiness practices across the organization. Drive continuous improvement in training effectiveness, technician capability, and field execution. Ensure training programs align with company safety requirements, policies, and operational standards. Stay current on technology, industry trends, and modern corporate and technical training best practices. Perform other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Technology, Operations, Engineering, Education, or a related field . 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate training, technical training, workforce development, field operations, or training enablement. Proven experience designing and delivering corporate or technical training programs. Experience developing training curriculum, SOPs, manuals, certification programs, and other training materials. Experience training technical employees, technicians, installers, field service personnel, or other skilled employees strongly preferred. Experience supporting technology deployments, field operations, customer implementations, or technical service environments preferred. Experience managing trainers or technical personnel preferred. Strong presentation and public-speaking skills with the ability to train both small groups and larger audiences. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and project management abilities. Ability to work collaboratively with Engineering, Product, Operations, Technical Support, and Leadership. Strong understanding of adult learning principles and effective training methodologies. Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, understandable training.
