This position aids vulnerable adults who live on their own or with family members. You will help them in setting and reaching goals to become more independent. This is a part-time position with a varied schedule that depends on the needs of the individual. Position Summary Oakridge Homes-Woodview is seeking compassionate and dependable Life Skills Trainers (LSTs) to provide non‑medical support services to individuals with developmental disabilities. This role focuses on building independence, life skills, and community engagement while fostering a positive and respectful living environment. Key Responsibilities Support individuals with developmental disabilities in daily living and independent living skills Assist with transportation and community activities Provide support in homes, apartments, and community settings Encourage independence based on individual goals and desired outcomes Complete required documentation during each visit Travel primarily within Crow Wing County Schedule Part-time position Primarily Monday-Friday, day and evening hours Occasional weekend availability required Pay & Benefits Starting wage: $16.00 per hour Paid training and meetings Flexible scheduling Paid time off 401(k) with company matching Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Parental leave Referral program Advancement opportunities into leadership roles
