At Lincoln Tech's Union, NJ campus, you'll guide aspiring technicians through the science and practice of modern HVAC—while enjoying three-day weekends every week. What a typical class session looks like You'll open the lab, review the day's learning goals, and connect theory to practice using our industry-standard equipment. From brazing basics to troubleshooting control circuits, you'll coach learners through hands-on work, observe their progress, and close each session with feedback that builds confidence and competence. Core responsibilities Teach HVAC technologies using our accredited curriculum and structured lesson plans aligned to industry standards. Lead practical, lab-based instruction in a fully outfitted, climate-controlled training facility. Foster an engaging, growth-oriented classroom where students participate, practice, and improve. Track performance, assess learning, and provide clear, constructive feedback. Stay current on HVAC tools, systems, and best practices to keep content fresh and relevant. Collaborate with colleagues to continually strengthen course delivery and program outcomes. Coach students toward industry certifications and career readiness. What you bring 3+ years of experience as an HVAC technician. High school diploma or GED. Clear communication and strong interpersonal skills. An ability to energize, motivate, and support learners from diverse backgrounds. A genuine passion for teaching, mentoring, and paying your expertise forward. Schedules and time-off rhythm

•10:30

PM Part-time Weekend:

Friday

•Sunday, 8:00 AM
