Verveba Telecom Job Summary Verveba Telecom is seeking an experienced Technical Trainer to support technical workforce development programs in Dallas, Texas. We are looking for someone who combines real-world technical experience with proven training ability . The ideal candidate does not need to be an expert in every aspect of data center infrastructure on day one. Verveba will provide training on our specific curriculum, equipment, procedures and technical requirements. The right candidate should be comfortable learning new technologies and then translating that knowledge into clear, structured, hands-on instruction for technicians. This position is ideal for someone who has worked in a telecom, networking, electronics, electrical, fiber, low-voltage, IT infrastructure, field service, manufacturing or similar technical environment and has experience training technicians or other technical personnel. Key Responsibilities Deliver classroom and hands-on technical training Learn Verveba's technical curriculum and become qualified to deliver assigned training modules Explain technical concepts in simple, practical terms Demonstrate tools, equipment, installation procedures and technical tasks Conduct hands-on labs and practical exercises Observe students performing technical tasks and identify skill gaps Provide coaching, correction and retraining where required Conduct written and practical assessments Evaluate technician competency and readiness Maintain student attendance, training records and assessment results Reinforce safety, quality and professional workmanship expectations Prepare training equipment and lab environments before each class Maintain training materials, tools and equipment Provide feedback to engineering and operations teams regarding technician performance Continuously improve training delivery based on student and field feedback Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in a technical field , such as telecom, networking, electronics, electrical, fiber, low voltage, IT infrastructure, field service, manufacturing or similar Previous experience as a Technical Trainer, Technical Instructor, Field Trainer, Training Specialist, Lead Technician or similar role Experience providing classroom and/or hands-on technical instruction Ability to learn new technical concepts and procedures quickly Comfortable demonstrating tools, equipment and technical processes Strong verbal communication and presentation skills Ability to explain technical subjects to individuals with different experience levels Comfortable evaluating practical skills and providing constructive feedback Strong organizational and documentation skills Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Strong commitment to safety and quality Technical Background Experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred; candidates are not expected to have experience in all areas : Telecommunications Networking / IT infrastructure Fiber optics Structured cabling / low voltage Electronics Electrical systems Data center operations Network equipment installation Field service / field engineering Equipment installation and commissioning Manufacturing or industrial technical environments Testing and troubleshooting Preferred Qualifications Previous experience training technicians, installers or field personnel Experience developing or delivering hands-on technical labs Experience working from technical manuals, SOPs, MOPs or work instructions Familiarity with technical drawings, diagrams or installation documentation Telecom or data center experience Fiber or structured cabling experience

familiarity OSHA-10 or OSHA-30 Train-the-Trainer or similar instructor certification Military technical instructor/trainer experience is also highly desirable What Verveba Will Provide The selected trainer will receive technical enablement on the specific curriculum they will be responsible for delivering, including: Data center fundamentals Rack & stack and equipment installation Structured cabling and fiber fundamentals Fiber inspection and cleaning Basic optical testing Troubleshooting methodology QA/QC and workmanship standards Commissioning and turnover processes Safety and work-control procedures Program-specific equipment, documentation and training labs Our curriculum is designed around demonstration, hands-on practice, self-inspection, trainer evaluation, correction/retest and final field-style execution , so we will train the instructor on both the content and the expected delivery methodology. What We Are Looking For We are primarily looking for three things: Technical Aptitude - Someone who understands technical work and can quickly learn new systems, equipment and procedures. Training Ability - Someone who knows how to teach adults, communicate clearly, demonstrate tasks and keep students engaged. Hands-On Mentality - Someone comfortable getting out from behind the PowerPoint and actually working with tools, equipment and technicians. The trainer should be able to learn the technical content, demonstrate it correctly, observe the student performing it, identify mistakes, explain why they are mistakes and coach the student until the task is performed correctly. Work Location Dallas, TX - Onsite This is primarily an onsite training position. The trainer will work in both classroom and hands-on lab environments .
