Kids of the Kingdom Child Development Center Join Our Team!! We are looking for an energetic, dependable, organized, and team-oriented Center Coordinator who enjoys working with children while also helping support the day-to-day operations of a child development center. This is a unique hybrid classroom and coordination position . Approximately half of the workday will be spent in the classroom, building relationships with children and supporting their learning and development. The other half will be spent helping coordinate center operations, supporting teachers, maintaining records, assisting with compliance, and working closely with the Director. What You'll Do Classroom & Child Development Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment. Build positive relationships with children and support their individual needs and development. Provide age-appropriate learning experiences, activities, and classroom routines. Support teachers and classrooms with transitions, staffing coverage, ratios, and daily needs. Step in where needed to help classrooms run smoothly. Center Operations & Administration Support daily center and classroom operations. Maintain accurate staff and student rosters, records, and documentation. Assist with staff onboarding, training documentation, and required training tracking. Use Procare, Excel, Google Sheets , and other center systems. Assist with facility organization, supplies, cleanliness, safety, and closing procedures. Help prepare for inspections, events, and other center activities. Quality & Compliance Support compliance with Texas Child Care Licensing Minimum Standards and Texas Rising Star requirements. Help maintain required documentation and records. Stay informed about licensing and quality expectations and communicate important information to staff. Help ensure center procedures and expectations are consistently followed. Team Support & Communication Serve as a reliable support to teachers, children, families, and the Director. Communicate important information and expectations to staff. Follow through on delegated tasks and responsibilities. Communicate concerns, needs, and updates to the Director. Help create a positive, collaborative, and welcoming environment for staff and families. Minimum Qualifications Four-year degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field OR current CDA credential , maintained and regularly renewed. Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a licensed childcare or early childhood setting. Working knowledge of Texas Child Care Licensing Minimum Standards and Texas Rising Star requirements. Knowledge of child development, classroom supervision, safety, and age-appropriate practices. Strong communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to maintain accurate records and manage multiple responsibilities. Working knowledge of Excel, Google Sheets, and Procare . Current or obtainable CPR/First Aid certification and required licensing and health/safety training. Reliable, professional, flexible, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Pay:
$13.50 - $14.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
